Claims Connection - On Demand CSI

Users have the ability to send real-time claim status inquiry (CSI) requests from Claims Connection. The inquiry is sent in real-time for the destination payer only. The inquiry pulls data from the claim to create a 276 transaction for the claim.

 

 

To send a claim status inquiry:

1. Select the desired claim from Claims Connection and click to view in the Realtime table.

2. Click Send CSI Request to run a claim status inquiry on the selected claim.

3. A confirmation message displays.  Click Continue to process the request.

4. Another confirmation message displays indicating the request was submitted successfully. 

5. Click Refresh to view the response when the process is completed. The response posts in the Realtime table.

6. Click the glasses icon in the View column to view the report.
