Claims Connection Processing Preferences

Processing Preferences allows users with Claims Connection Admin permissions to automatically override Smart Edits and release rejected claims after three (3) days. Mark the check box to set the auto-release preference and click Save. A message displays if the setup is saved successfully. This screen is unavailable for users without the appropriate permissions. A record is added to the Audit Log for the activity.

Note: If a claim with the claim status Rejected and category of Eligibility is released, the claim status remains but the category no longer displays.
